Cookie Policy

This policy explains how RadioID uses cookies, browser storage, embedded media, and similar technologies on radioid.net.

Necessary cookies

RadioID uses necessary cookies and browser checks to keep the site working. These include the login session cookie, CSRF/security behavior, JavaScript/cookie capability checks, and feature state needed for account, support, admin, membership, generator, and map workflows. Without these, the site cannot provide the requested service safely.

  • NICE_ADMIN: RadioID session cookie used for login, security, and account state.
  • js_enabled: remembers that the browser supports JavaScript and cookies so the site can continue past the browser check.
  • CSRF/session-linked tokens: protect forms and background requests from cross-site request forgery.

Preference storage

RadioID may use browser storage for interface preferences and privacy choices, such as whether you chose to load optional embedded media. These choices stay in your browser and can be cleared from your browser settings.

Analytics and advertising

RadioID does not intentionally use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, third-party ad pixels, or behavioral advertising cookies on the main site. Server logs, security logs, membership funnel events, and error diagnostics may still record technical data needed to operate and improve the service.

Embedded media and third-party features

Some pages offer optional embedded media, such as YouTube videos. RadioID does not load those embeds until you choose to load them. Once loaded, the third-party provider may receive your IP address, browser details, and any cookies or account state you have with that provider.

Some requested features, such as maps, geocoding, payment checkout, payment portals, or external radio-network lookups, may load or contact external providers because those providers are needed for the feature you requested.

Third-party assets

RadioID may load some JavaScript, CSS, icons, or other static assets from content delivery networks. Those providers may receive technical request data such as IP address, browser details, page URL, and timestamp. RadioID uses these assets to provide the site interface and does not use them for behavioral advertising.

Email pixels and delivery status

Service emails may include delivery, open, or click metadata when supported by the email delivery provider. RadioID uses this to troubleshoot delivery, support account recovery, diagnose inactive mailboxes, and understand whether required messages are reaching users.

Your choices

  • You can clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings.
  • You can choose whether to load optional embedded media when a page offers it.
  • You can change communication preferences in your RadioID account settings where those preferences are available.
  • If you block necessary cookies, login and account features will not work correctly.

Changes

RadioID may update this policy as site features and providers change.
